Chemical Peels

Medical-grade skin resurfacing treatments that reveal brighter, smoother, and more even-toned skin by dissolving damaged outer layers and accelerating cell renewal.

Customized to Your Skin Brightening + Smoothing Treats Acne + Pigment Minimal Downtime Options

Reveal Glowing New Skin

Chemical peels use carefully selected acids β€” such as glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, TCA (trichloroacetic acid), and mandelic acid β€” applied to the skin surface to exfoliate and dissolve damaged, dull outer layers. As the treated skin peels away, fresh, renewed skin cells emerge with improved texture, clarity, and radiance.

At JRJ, every chemical peel is customized based on your skin type, tone, sensitivity, and specific concerns. We never use a one-size-fits-all approach.

Does a chemical peel hurt? +
Light peels produce a mild tingling or stinging sensation during application, which subsides quickly. Medium-depth peels may produce more intense tingling or warmth. We use fans and soothing neutralizers to maximize comfort throughout the treatment.
What is the downtime? +
Light peels have minimal to no visible peeling (1–2 days of mild flaking). Medium peels produce visible peeling beginning on day 3 and lasting through day 5–7. Deep peels require 7–14 days of recovery. We'll recommend the right depth for your goals and schedule.
How often can I get a chemical peel? +
Light peels can be done every 4–6 weeks. Medium peels are recommended every 8–12 weeks. For best results, we typically recommend a series of 3 peels spaced appropriately for your skin goals.
Can I wear makeup after a peel? +
After a light peel, mineral makeup can be applied the following day. After medium or deeper peels, we recommend avoiding makeup until active peeling has subsided (typically day 5–7). We'll provide a full aftercare kit and instructions.
